Loan agreement signed between Lebanon and the Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development concerning the project of transporting the Litani River water to South Lebanon.

Merged the Qasimiya and Ras Al-Ain Irrigation Authority with the Litani River Authority.

Added more functions to the existing functions of the Litani River Authority

The inclusion of an arbitration clause in the contracts concerning the project of transporting the Litani River water to South Lebanon for irrigation purposes and as drinking water purposes (at  800 meters above sea level)
